The BMSC is based in Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. Although our members participate in many disciplines of motorsport we are chiefly a rally oriented club and conduct several special stage rallys each year. Our membership are also heavily involved in the organisation of the Rally of Canberra, an Australian round of the FIA Asia Pacific Series.

Entries are now open for the 2012 Shannons Insurance ACT Rally Series! Just go to "ACT Register" in the left menu. It's going to be a great year! Bring on the competition!

2012 ACT Series Regulations are out now!

The ACT Regional Rally Series Committee would like to welcome back the 2011 naming rights sponsor and Gold Cup Category sponsor – Shannons Insurance, as the 2012 major sponsor. Damien Hawkes and the staff at Shannons Insurance are passionate about motorsport and have continued their support by sponsoring the ACT Series. This year, the ACT Series will be known as *the 2012 Shannons Insurance ACT Regional Rally Series. A sincere thank you is extended for the ACT Series’ category sponsors; Autotech Services, Techworkz Automotive, V-Sport Canberra* and Stilling Enterprises. 2011 Presentation

The 2011 presentation was held last night and was a huge success. There are a number of people and companies that need to be thanked for making the night one of the best that we have had. Firstly to the Hellenic Club Woden – great venue and fantastic food. So much food from the antipasto plates to the hundreds of mini desserts – and to the Board of the Hellenic Club who donated the room and equipment hire so that we could donate this money to the Snowy Hydro Southcare Rescue Helicopter Service. Molly Taylor who in her busy schedule getting ready to go back to England on Monday gave us a great insight to the road to the WRC - which included having to sleep in barns, driving rally cars in Sweden that had no heating and putting up with service vehicles that kept breaking down on the autobahn. Molly we wish you all the best for your 2012 endeavours. Greg Bayliss for his humour and professionalism as MC. Fred Gocentas who presented awards and told some tales. Kelly for the use of her fantastic photos and Charles for putting the photos and videos together for people to enjoy watching their vehicles on the big screen and lastly but by no means least to Charles for the use his equipment that enabled us to have a monitor screen for the MC, the ability to switch between computers to allow the presentation to flow and also for helping Molly when her computer wouldn't talk to the projector. Thank you so much.
