Well, that is one step closer to Chris having a competitive tyre and car package...

Richard Taylor, SWRT Managing Director said; "Up to now, we have been unable to accurately benchmark our performance. It will be interesting to go head-to-head with our competitors on the same rubber."
All Subaru's 46 WRC wins have been with Pirelli but the team has been struggling in recent times. It urgently needs to rationalise its difficulties before finally committing to the design of the '07 version car, which is not expected to run until Mexico in March.

One of the reasons Pirelli have been looking to exit stage left from the WRC is BECAUSE the Michelin's have been re-branded as BFGoodrich.
Pirelli don't feel they're getting their own mileage by competing against a 'non-premium' brand like BF.
I think Neal Bates Motorsport used to run as BF and then switched the branding back the other way. Strange.

They would get more milage in the first place if they actually produced a decent tyre, which they seem to be incapable of doing for the last few years.
