A few cable ties, some race tape and a mop and you'll be fine, should be all done in a week or so?

I understood that they were a seperate bar that met at the top of the A-Pillar and then again at the bottom of the A-Pillar. Also, that they were a single bar. Mine could be strengthened by putting another piece of cage between the A-Pillar and the Sainz bar somewhere in the middle about dash height. Would then need to be re-engineered although it would match some of the diags in the CAMS manual.
That setup on the lancer just transfers weight onto the intrusion bar, which would pull everything in if a roof hit occured.

correct, cage is not quite finished yet. Yes the bar has a bend in it, but I'm pretty sure a lot do. It is still safer/stronger than not having the bar there and there's room to fully turn the steering wheel.

I don't normally like to pass comment or judgement on these things as I am a co-driver not an engineer but I have to agree with Smee here on that attempted Sainz bar
A impact in the right (or should I say wrong) place on the top of the A-pillar could cause that bar to seperate from your side intrusion bar and there is only one place it will go and that is in the direction of Driver or Co-Driver, sorry but I would really rethink that one, my opinion!
I have seen some cars (Sullens Tas crash for example) that have taken some pretty huge loadings that have bent bars quite a lot but if they are one piece they cant break off. All the Prodrive cages for exapmle are hoops and loops to minimise joins and pieces stopping mid vehicle.
Worth thinking about and easy to ammend at this early stage.
