2007 BRM Silverstone Safari
Hi peoples
For those that dont know the 2007 BRM Silverstone Safari Rally is booked in for the 7/7/07 in the forests surrounding Canberra.
Its not only a part of the ACT Series and the first home event but also NSW Clubman and Gemini series aswell.
Im currently looking for stage commanders and anyone who wants to book in early as a volunteer. Im after 5 more commanders as I have a couple already.

We still need stage commanders for Hyles and Greenhills (Hyles is easy, even I've done it once). Hyles is run twice and Greenhills only once, so if you want an upgrade to your licence or you feel capable of stepping up call me now. Some of the usual suspects are still yet to reply but new blood is good blood.

Sounds like a good birthday present!
4 July is my birthday. I just rang CAMS this afternoon, and my license was processed today, and is now in the mail.
So this could be my first rally in 11 years! (I got put off ROC by all of the additional safety requirements, and can't make Bega as I'm heading to QLD the next day.)
So bring on the Silverstone Safari!
Can anyone give me some information on length of the event? What stages/forests are going to be in use? Go on, help build up my excitement.
Oh, and if I can get my request in early, a nice lowly seeding would be appreciated. Although we may go reasonably well.

Its 154kms competitve and bout 140kms transport.
Cost is $350 as per ACT Series Regs. We use as much of the forests in the Brindies as we're allowed. Good mix of stages and good roadbook. Stages range from 5km-40km stages.
Starts and ends at the Woden Tradies Club.
Bring it on!

Nah Hyles is more like about 25 I think last time I saw the maps  .

Pierces East would be about 10km...Hyles long loop is about 10km...the short version of Murrays would be about 5km.
Who assumed they were gravel though?
