So, what value are rules that nobody adheres to?
And what value are rules that you can't get anyone to enforce?
"Be excellent to each other"
and
"If you carry on like a ****head, you will be banned".
16 clear and un-ambiguious words to replace 16 unneccasary pages of appaently draconian, loophole ridden guff.
Like I've already said, I think the intent is noble. Despite the honest attempt at writing good regs, the implementation is about as flawed as a set of regs that I'd write about piloting the space shuttle.

Give them another 10 years of fiddling and they will be as good as the PRC rules..

Spac's First Rule to Piloting the Space Shuttle
If you stuff up the landing, just push the throttles forward and go around again and have another crack at it.
Sorry. Couldn't resist.

The Space Shuttle glides in with no engines running and no power, its a one attempt approach, succed or fail, bit like the VK at times.

This site is one of, if not, the most popular Australian rally websites because it has benefited from Karl Willett’s foresight all those years ago. Since this is reality, there are a few options for those that aren’t happy with the new rules or how they are being administered…
If you have a serious issue with the site and want it changed, join the BMSC, then join the committee, and then do something about it. Alternatively, start your own Rally forum and watch the tumbleweeds roll by…
If you don’t like how this site is run or controlled (but can’t be stuffed doing anything constructive about it) don’t visit the site (no-one is holding a gun to your head). Go and play on FaceBook with all the 12 year old girls.
If none of these options suit you, then just suck it up!!
Note: There are some aspects of this site that I am not as happy with as I could be, but considering I will not join the committee to try and change it, I try and keep any criticism of the site/club to an absolute minimum.

Yep, flown a few gliders (Blanik, Puchatz) in my time and am a complete space nut especially on satellites and the Apollo program. It was suppose to be a hugely ironic statement
Bede, I find your post incontravention to the rules as well as your Caption Competition thread. You're banned for life. May Ray Day visit you frequently in a manikini!

Report post system.
We recently received the quoted text below as a reported post, with the swearing gapped so it wouldn't be censored. Be aware this is totally unacceptable. The c word taking it well over the top.

For f***s sake can someone please ban this c***? Just 48 hours would
do...

Forum Rules
Banter is fine, a blatent disregard for a group of volunteers administering a forum available to the general public with whatever foul language is simply no longer acceptable.
If you have a query, think about it before you post, or pm the mods and we will look at it in a reasonable period of time.
It seems a number of people operate with their own set of rules.
From now on we will enforce the rules. ie no more warnings 1 week, 1 month, or a permanent ban. This would be much easier than trying to be reasonable with people who have all day, and no meaningfull job, to ridicule others without thinking about the end result of their meaning less dribble.
In short clean it up or you will be gone. Warnings it seems are useless so it is time for serial offenders to have a holiday.
The day care centre is now closed.
End of Rant.
John Stilling.
