Right, this isn't working out. I have never seen this place so angry. It has all started with these rules. When you tell people "don't go there", they do.
I am going out on a limb here, but I strongly believe that it is in the best interests of the club, the forum, and the sport.
I am taking control of the forum again. The new rules are to be shelved, pending the sub-committee review. The "Report Post" button is there for a very good reason - let the users decide what crosses the line.
There is NO WAY I WILL STAND BY AND WATCH THIS PLACE GO TO HELL IN A HAND-CART.
New Rules
1. Play nice. Use your head, then your keyboard. You all know the obvious things about what not to do and say.
2. If you think that any thread/post contravenes Rule 1, click the "Report Post" button.
That is all.

Basically - I agree - it should be simple, but as evidenced by JME recent posts in his argument with Bogan on ARC CAMS issues, it gets all to personal all to quick, and I am firm agreement with what JME is saying, but telling people to wake up etc is unacceptable. Good luck - we will see how the children behave.

I avoided saying anything, but I think a number of ppl who don't understand the interwebs got involved and made the crappy arse rules. I've been a member and former moderator of a much much larger and far far more controversial board for 8 years, and with almost no issues at all from a legal pt if view- it still flourishes, and I'm more than welcome to call anyone I like a ****..
