...when your bushwalking friends no longer to bother to ask you if you are going to go walking in Tassie this time.
...when you cannot concentrate for more than 3 minutes while writing a uni essay but will only look up once every 3 hours when transcribing pacenotes.
(just for daniel) ...when you respond to questions about when your first child is due with the words "rally of Canberra weekend"
...when your work roster is printed out with rally weekends marked so on-one asks you to cover them
...when the mere mention of the word "Bega" in any non-rally setting has you day dreaming of Upper Cobargo Road for the rest of the day

When you still remember what the Sandcastle was like at 6am when you fell asleep at the bar.
And were awake again at 7am to go again.

When Narooma gets postponed, so you start to seriously calculate how far it is exactly to Wauchope and how long it's going to take to get there.
Hey Dave!?
And Bede - I like your thinking!

When you start contemplating driving to Victoria to do a few rounds of the VRC before May/June... and it starts to make sense...

...When you see a few small words on the front cover of a car magazine with the words, "all-new turbo evo VIII" that you know you have to buy without even looking at what is on the other 100 pages in the magazine...
...When your road rage extends to dreaming of racing against the b'stard who is sitting on your ahole at 100 kph - on dirt!!!
...When you do the speedlimit approaching the roundabout, the speedlimit through the roundabout and leaving the roundabout - while everyone else slows down for corners...
...When you go for a drive from the 'old' Cotter to 'old' Uriarra and see if you can triple the 'recommended' cornering speed signs...
AND finally...
...When you spend a boring day at work, checking BMSC.com every half an hour in the chance that someone might have posted something, anything for chrissake...

True dat!
...When you're at your mates wedding saying "On my register I'd have a new race suit, new helmet, rally car (any), etc. And I'd have rally cars for the bridal party and in the photo shoot."
