Rowds, you are so right!!! We have been doing the sums lately to move from SA to potentially another more viable rally prospect!!!

Lisi- well it looks like I might be moving back to SA probably for a year, maybe 2 depending. If it happens, I'm making damn sure I get paid enough that I can store the car somewhere permanently, and then fly across to compete...

...when you move out of a brand new unit into a shed just so you have somewhere to fit the cars. (cause no other rental has enough garage space)

... when you haven't done much in recent times and you look for any excuse to thrash a car legally.

When you have to wait for the NSWRAP to put out the final 2007 calendar before you can plan a date for your wedding.
When your better half warns you not to damage the rally budget too badly when purchasing an engagement ring.
When you get full road rego on your rally car because driving it a few times a year is nowhere near enough.

This is GOLD people, stumbled across it on the weekend, and have not stopped laughing since.
more about my dad & family than me , but gives you an idea.....
... TO RALLYING WHEN in 1970 i was overdue to be born, so thursday night , my soon to be dad took measures into his own hands. Working an old wifes tale, he fed mum 3 teaspoons of castor oil (nuthin to do with wheel alignment) and took her for 3 really quick laps around the block in his hot mini cooper s. Mum went into labour at 7.00 am friday morning, born at 4.00pm, and dad started the AMPOL ROUND AUSTRALIA TRIAL for 2.5 weeks on the saturday morning.
aint bugger all changed since... thank god.

When you're driving in a rally car and tell your mate you'd buy a ringtone that sounded like rally tyres on tar...
Yep... I'm very sick in the head...
