2008 Rally Of Lithgow
The 2008 Rally Of Lithgow website is now live at www.rallyoflithgow.com we have made some changes to the recce times after feedback from some of last years competitors and have also moved to a bigger better service park with full mobile service.there are some other changes as outlined on the site, the main street start will have more of a festival feel our TV and radio advertising starts in April. supp regs will be available online shortly after they have been approved, you will be able to register online for an officials position, as well as to compete from tomorrow night.
we look forward to seeing you all in Lithgow on the 3rd May 2008 for Rnd 1 of the NSW state rally chamionship and Rnd 2 of the Race Brakes excel series

Hey Ric, what is the entry fee for the event? I gather it would be around the normal NSW series price right?? Im just keen to take the RX7 for a blat before handing it back, and im trying to work funding for it.
Sounds like it would be a great event.

Just wondering if any of the stages being used this year will be the same as last year??? Will make the recce a whole lot easier if the notes from last year can be used / tweaked to suit the course this year.

Daz
2 of the stages are identical, one will be the same up to where it finished last year but this year we have been able to extend it about 3.5 km
And the 4th Stage is very different, it uses some of the same roads but has a lot of new stuff as well.

Once again Dale Moscat has put his hand up to run a pacenoting school on Friday night prior to the Drivers briefing at the Lithgow Workers Club so if you are competing or 1 of the 12 registered officials who have an interest in the art of pacenotes you are all welcome.
Millenium Room, Lithgow Workers Club Friday 2nd May 2008 start time TBC

We went last year. It was really helpful. We were going to run on the roadbook but after the pacenoting school we went for notes. Recommend it to anyone.
