Jenolan AMSAG next weekend.
Scott Kuhner from Insight Motorsports is supporting the event and has got some things happening for 4wd cars. Wanted me to throw up a post or 2 letting people know about the rally.
At present we have 10 confirmed entries (just 4wd's), and he is bugging me to either throw an entry in myself or give the VR4 to Gav, or Dave King or someone who will do the car justice That will be 11.
Of course there are the usual 2wd suspects, but the 4wd field is growing. Good news for the next AASA round I guess.
It's a one day event, $50 club membership is all the licence you need and entry is around the $250 mark I believe- maybe a little more- check supp regs at amsag.com.au

CSI Mahony New crowd favourite there I reckon. Spectating should be fun... turbo 16's, V8 Skylines, Jason King in the Angry Dato.
Is Goldy running?
Free food back at the Pub followed by the traditional AMSAG piss up. With the captain of the drinking team (Jon Parker) down at Targa we need a new leader. Stand up Mahoney!!!

As Gee would say... "It's all good mate".
I wish I had some more coin in my pocket to compete. I can afford the event costs, it's the shout at the bar which has got me worried!

camping will be available within stumbling distance of the pub, as the top gate of the hdcc hampton grounds will be open and you can camp on the lookout.

Insight prizes for Jenolan
I hope to promote 4WD entries and have put up a bit of a prize pool to help Battys event along a little. Along side the existing AMSAG prizes we wll be putting up the following:
1ST 4WD
$200 Insight Dollars - Can use to buy anything you want from
Insight Motorsports
8 Ltrs VP Racing Oil - Should do 2 oil changes in late model 4WD
cars. This is ultra high quality synthetic oil designed for racing
2 * Insight Caps
2 * Insight Stickers
2 * VP Racing Stickers
2ND 4WD:
$100 Insight Dollars
8 Ltrs VP Racing Oil
2 * Insight Cap
2 * Insight Stickers
2 * VP Racing Stickers
3RD 4WD:
8 Ltrs VP Racing Oil
$100 Insight Dollars
2 * Insight Cap
2 * Insight Stickers
2 * VP Racing Stickers
I spoke to Goldy yesterday and he said he will be there with the datto. Perhaps some new boys might even want to come and challenge the goldy mobile for 2wd honors or even some 4wd boys maybe come out and fancy themselves against some damn quick 2wd pedalers? If you can't beat em put a diff and a turbo in the front I say..........

It's a cheap rally for me- that is true. I can probably do it for about $500 out of my pocket, got fuel/tyres/brakepads etc in the truck. I'm definately tempted to throw an entry in. I'll sit in with Gee if I don't drive myself, might make a few phonecalls today and see what happens.

JME - No more thinking time I just posted your entry. Please find Gee a navigator and don't forget your gum boots you swampy wombat.
Also think I may have another couple of 4WD entries. A class field seems to be brewing

Did you pay for that entry?
I've heard enough swamp/Shrek jokes in the last week to do me a lifetime.

I'd love to drive but I'll be there navving for Glenn (Inkster not Farrant). A couple of TCC folk heading up to run a stage or part thereof. Was over at Batty's place today to pick up gear for our State Motorkhana - he's got 20+ entries now and more on their way...........
