Canberra Scrutineering for RoC
There will be Scrutineering for local crews (Entered in the ACT part of the Rally of Canberra):
When: Wednesday night 7th May
Time: 6.00pm until 7.00pm
(Crews wanting to be scrutineered MUST be at the venue by 7.00pm - though scrutineering will probably finish later)
Where: Total Traction Services. Gillott Street, Belconnen
Please note:
APPAREL WILL BE CHECKED. If you leave your suit / helmet / etc at home - you'll have to be re-scrutineered at the Sutton Driver Training facility as per the Regs.

Are we just using normal state requirements??? Just the suit, Balaclava, shoes and gloves?

Yes. 100% cotton or wool socks will suffice.

Special Stage Rallies (State level* or higher):
During each special stage, at minimum each crew member is required to wear:
• A one-piece driving suit, made from a flame retardant material, or, until 30 December 2008, a two-piece driving suit homologated to an appropriate SFI standard;
• a separate balaclava, t-shirt, underwear and socks, each made from a material complying with ISO 15025:2000 or ISO 6940, or alternatively of cotton or wool;
• flame-retardant gloves (a co-driver is exempted from this requirement), complying with current FIA standards or from materials compliant with ISO 6940;
• boots complying with current FIA standards, boots the upper portions of which are made from materials compliant with ISO 6940 or alternatively boots which incorporate a full leather upper.
The use of flame-retardant apparel which has been homologated to the FIA 8856-2000 standard is strongly recommended.

I bought new boots before the Forrest Rally to be compliant (which I was told I had to do) and the older style boots were allowed through anyway.
