AMSAG Dirt Circuit- 12 July
AMSAG is branching out to offer a wider range of motorsport for it's members. If you still think AMSAG is about old blokes in old cars then this is a sign that times are changing. AMSAG is able to offer a variety of motorsport activities, and is beginning to do just that.
Dirt Circuit- Hampton, $80 entry fee and most likely a bit of drinking at Hampton Pub afterwards.
No special licence, No OLT's etc. Just BS free motorsport.
See AMSAG website for more details.
Also coming up- AMSAG Oberon (1 Day Rally), AMSAG Cowra (2 Day Rally) and AMSAG Port Macquarie (2 Day Rally).

I'd guess to align with some insurance documentation, but the truth is I don't actually know.

supp regs are up on amsag website, for those of you who are unsure it is at the hills car club grounds, behind the pup, over the years my dad and a few others have done a lot of work to the roads up there,eg;widen roads remove nasty trees, it has come along way from what people would remember it,for those who havent been there it is still a place you have to treat the roads with a lot of respect, but as far as the coarse , it is very challening coarse with big jumps ,big boomie corners(speedway style) and fast uphill and downhill bits, and awsome for spectators, top speed would would be around 80km and lowest speed would be round 10km, like i said it has everything!! entrys are limted to only 25 CARS(but more entrants) so get in early, entry is $80 including lunch for entrant, depending on starters hopeing to get in around 7-8 runs then hit the pup afterwards,(and let the bull**** fly) there will be no navigators, any further questions fell free to call mick king on 47353057 should be a great day!!!

car must be registered or have a uvp, even though it is in private property it is for amsag''s insurance cover, car must meet amsag requirements, and must be pre scrutineered, NO entrys or scrutineering on the day.

Its $40 SHHHEEEEEESSSHHHH!!! Well it is for me but im just special ( Well Im doing this or Tomberongongongongononandon, It just depends which car gets fixed first! )
PS I hate picking die grinding shards out of your hands that got there though gloves, Cold Rough dirty shed floors and a shed that can only fit half the car.... The VR4...Its in the back yard and I get rained on there!
Crossing fingers for the weekend................. Why do I do this. Oh yeah, to impress the girls
All comments made tounge in cheek so what hey hey said..........and the RX2 could be made ready in under an hour but I have to put more mods onto it, When will I learn! And "Fixing" the VR4 involves actually setting the fuel pressure.......

I'm down the RTA quite a bit these days, done maybe 10 or so UVP's including the local Lions Clubs BBQ trailer for the champion old blokes who use it once or twice a year. It costs me $21... $18 plus insurance. It's the QBE insurance premium which fluctuates the price, but $40 seems excessive. I got hit $28 once and we changed a few inputs and it came down. Less than a dollar a day... usually I get them for 27 days
Never had a problem with the RTA, I find that if you just say very little, be polite and let them go about their business they come good. For AMSAG we go down there with 4 or 5 of them together (take it in turns)- forms filled out, signed etc.
NSW Rally Rego was always a bit of a hassle, the RTA people didn't know how to go about it and started asking questions. You had to turn up with a pokerface and your A game. I remember Gee and I having to pull out some "charity rally" speil to get some paperwork through- but it seems these UVP's are just an 'everyday' thing- they are easy and they know what to do.
