Fuel Consumption Research
Doing some research.
Please post your fuel consumption rates for both competitive and transport stages in Km/litre.
Type of vehilce and engine configuration would also be good
ie Naturally Aspirated/Turbo Carbys/Injection
Thanks Ben.

Dunno if this'll be much help, it's not a rally car, but I get pretty close to 10.5L/100km out of my EH Holden with regular highway driving, it's powered by a triple carbed (CD150 Strombergs) and cammed 186ci red motor, 5 speed manual with 3.08 diff. That number doesn't differ too much for city/town driving either, as long as I don't flog it.
A few years back when I was on my Ps and thought I was indestructible I decided to be a wanker and go screaming through the bush when we were camping at Swans Crossing (Upsalls Creek road, it's sometimes used as a stage in rallies around Port Macquarie), I went down that road 3 times and into Laurieton and used a bit over 30L. Works out at about 110-120km all up, so you could say my consumption would have been very close to 30L/100km. Although, it should be noted that the motor had a 350 Holley and standard rockers (as opposed to roller rockers) on it at the time, so the consumption might be different now - although I'd say for flat out driving it would be much the same today judging by the amount of fuel I've used at hillclimbs/track days since fitting the triples.
I'll get some more reliable numbers next time I go to a track day if you'd like.

In the excel we get about 7L/100km on transport and allow about 14L/100km in stage. It uses a bit less than that especially when on open high speed stages when mostly in higher gears. Use around 40L on most average rallies, up to 50 on some of the longer ones.
Excel series car so stock as can be.........

We're only marginally better in the RX-2. We budget on about 1L per competitive km, and that usually gets us through transports as well (as long as they're not too long).

Those units must be the other way around. 750L/100km is impressive fuel consumption to say the least, almost on par with fighter aircraft.
