Nope we are all pretty much in the dark the letters arrived express post yesterday and that's the first and so far the last we knew of it

Anyone still think CAMS cares about the bottom of the sport and sees the base grade members as its reason for esistence? Oh and BTW fro - welcome to the Ed - shortest chairman club.

Just by way of clarification ..... I wouldn't have thought that the CAMS administration would have any role in this situation ?
The RAP - assuming it woks the same in NSW as Victoria - is appointed by & is answerable to State Council, not to the CAMS administration ?

And surely in the constitution (or whatever it is that guides the Advisory Panels) there should be something which dictates what is to happen in the event of the Chairman no longer being available ie. surely that is what a vice-chairman is for?
Despite CAMS statement that this is because of other changes within CAMS Structure, I am a little sceptical. Considering that there are still Advisory Panels within the new structure (that I've seen) there should be no need to dissolve this one.
I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories, but there are lots more questions than answers going on here....

I can smell something here but don't know what it is??
So the Chairman resigned for whatever reason, wouldn't the norm be for the Vice Chairman or other panel member to step up for the next few months as would happen in any other organisation.
No matter how many times they put the release or letter to members through the dryer to put the right amount of spin on it it just doesn't make sense to kill off a grass roots advisory group especially with planning for 2009 events being in full swing.
