Wakefield Park Supersprint

For those of you who are not travelling to Bathurst for the rally on 3 May 2003, or those of you who didn't get a big enough speed fix in Bathurst, Hills District Car Club is running a Wakefield Park Supersprint on Sunday 4 May 2003.

It is a CAMS speed event, so all relevant requirements will have to be met but I believe (and please correct me if I am wrong) that any rally car should not have a problem meeting these. Please ensure that your helmet has A CAMS sticker on it (doesn't have to be this year's).

Entry fee is $120.00 or $80.00 for juniors. Start time is 10.00am with scrutineering from 8.00am (possibly earlier if we can get the gate open - will confirm later) or for those of you who are Sydney based pre event scrutineering will be held at Stout Road Smash, 9/1 Stout Road, Mount Druitt on Wednesday 30 April 2003 from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. A safety check will then take place on Sunday morning.

This promises to be a good fun event and I can assure you that the "circuit cars" will be outnumbered greatly by rally cars.

Please contact Karen Warwick on 02 9832 4342 to reserve your place. Supp regs will be available shortly on

Sounds great, except for it being the day after the Peter Rodgers Real Estate Bathurst Rally...

might get some sore heads poking in to say "Hello", though. Or we might just be resting...

It's most excellent that people feel happy to post stuff like this up here... makes me believe that we are a "Motor Sport Club", and aren't mis-named.

Besides, Brindabella Rally Wankers Club just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? Either way, still sound better thatn LCCC...

Hey gloworm, I'm only a dumb mech engineer, help!

The link goes to a page where you can log in or use public folders, of which there are none?

Thanks too, Karl, he of the hand- polished gearbox (ie it has to be clean having had that many hands on it!).

And 'they' reckon GTX's are bad!
