Subaru WRC a slug

For people who have fox sports or see the WRC on TV,

Not sure how many of you picked up on this, they use Virtual spectator and they had a standing start followed by a long straight with slight corners to them where with all the cars together, Subaru does the JOB out of the blocks, but is soon swamped and hosed off top end by big car lengths !

The old Pug has some very tidy top end power by the time it was pulling 190kph Subaru was only pulling 160 kph, others were still pulling the speeds ~190 kph but just lost a few car lengths, but nothing like the Subaru.

They also did the same thing back in Sweden and the scoda rockets through to peak speed at top end, again the Subaru got hosed.

One thing is though it must be on rails to be able to do the times it does. I know the David Lapworth say even a non restricted EJ20 will struggle to make 600hp without lifting the heads off, they only run 2.5bar, where as pugs run 3.5bar!

I think that Subaru are never going to do the Job properly again with the larger longer wheel base while ever there opposition use smaller platforms.
