Southern Rally Broadcast Launches Pure Motorsport

Pure Motorsport are launching with a bang, bringing all the thrills and spills from this weekend’s Southern Rally direct to the internet on sarally.com.au.

The Southern Rally is the final round of the 2008 South Australian Rally Championship and South Australian Clubman Series, and with both championships still on the line, it promises to be an exciting battle.

This event marks the launch of Pure Motorsport. Pure Motorsport has been setup by the sarally.com.au team to commercialise their live broadcasting technology and services, and to provide these specialised skills to events all over the world. Pure Motorsport has already taken over the day to day running of sarally.com.au, with further projects in the pipeline.

In addition to in car footage being published on sarally.com.au during the event, all the news and results will be available as they happen, in addition to SA Motorsport Tyres Instant Results delivering results direct to any mobile phone.

Following two successful trials at this year’s ASP Adelaide Hills Tarmac Sprint and Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA, the team have made significant improvements and recent developments will be debuted at this event prior to a 2009 rollout.

“We received overwhelmingly positive feedback on the two previous trials, so it was only natural to continue to develop the technology for the Southern Rally” explained Team Principal Ryan Jones. “For 2009 there is significant demand for this technology, and rally fans really want to see this at every round!”
