2009 AMSAG Pipe King Rally Series

At last nights Presentation it was announced that this years AMSAG Series will have a name change and will be known at the 2009 'Pipe King' Series.

For those not in the know, Aussieduct has been an ongoing sponsor of the series, and Pipe King is the same organisation/same people just a different series name.

Obviously big thanks to John Hills for backing the series and maintaining faith in the direction of the club.

It's also a huge vote of confidence that in these times we are able to attract/keep the sponsors who have been supporting our club. With increasing competitor entries and membership numbers the future is looking bright.

The dates for the 2009 Pipe King Series are:

April 4 - Jenolan 110km
May 17/18- Bathurst RSL Club Rally 230km
Sept 12/13 -Cowra Services Club Rally 230km
Oct 4 - Eden Rally (Great Southern Hotel)
Oct 31 - Dimension 1 Oberon Rally 170km
Nov 14 - Rallysprint (Lithgow)

All 5 events make up the Pipe King Series. The 3 single day events make up the AMSAG Rookie Series.

Entry fees for the 2 single day western region rallies will be approx $280 (Jenolan includes after event catering). The 2 day events are fully catered for driver and co-driver will have an entry fee of approx $420 plus catering, which works out over $500. Gerald has told me the planned entry fee for Eden but to be honest I can't remember and would hate to get it wrong... so we will wait.

Club membership is $50 and includes all licences, paperwork etc. Family memberships are available. Everyone welcome.
