I've seen more red (and I mean red not amber) lights run in the last year then I have all my life.
To give you an idea, a story in the local paper the other day mentioned that Melbourne cops were shocked they caught 31 people DUI during a weekend blitz.
Darwin's population is ~3% of the population of Melbourne, yet when they do a weekend blitz up here they normally catch 50-60 people DUI.
Last year a 19-20yr old girl was caught, unlicensed, driving an unregistered car. She blew ~0.225, she was ~6 months pregnant at the time, and failed to turn up to court the previous week regarding another DUI charge.
Oh and this guy, filmed himself masturbating at 150kph,

90% of them would never have travelled at more than 80kph and when they get onto a highway with 2 lanes and a limit of 110, they sit on 85 in the right hand lane.
