I've told you before Dave... no one rates ya. You're a has-been. Someone will win the 2010 Southern Mountains Rally... but it won't be you. You simply aren't good enough so forget about those aspiration and maybe concentrate on winning your class at a club khanacross which is more at your level of skill.
Mahony and Matt J are mates -they have both been knocked out recently and have a 'concussion bond'. Maybe those 2 can team up and run just in front of the FIV. I believe there are 2 this year... 1 FIV for Mahoney and the other for the rest of the field.
If you can get Mahoney a co-driver I'll sit in and sledge you... sounds like fun. We might even finished 33rd or something.
Or maybe someone called Jane to co-driver for Mahoney "Upside down, Miss Jane!" I believe Mr Squiggle used to call...

Hope to be there. Want to start looking for a turbo or something to bolt on and get a bit of extra horsepower for this year though. My right foot keeps getting cramps from squeezing the accelerator for long periods without a brake on some of the brilliant roads that AMSAG organisers seem to find.

Rallying with Mahoney is easy compared to playing golf with him. 18 holes equated to a buckled rim and a 'massive' 360 downhill spin on the 14th. I actually jumped out and cartwheeled down the fairway- I've still got no idea how that thing didn't go over.
The thing is with his rallying he actually has a heap of skill. He'll win rallies if he settles down a bit. That 40k stage we crashed out of he was 4th into that - with a big overshoot, a spin, passing the Porsche etc. He had no run up to that point, but still would have just about been leader on the road at 25k's when he dumped it. Absolutely nailed the first 25ks...
Also, any newbie who rolls 4 times (well if we are counting rotations it's about 13) in a calendar year and bounces back has shown they desperately want to be out there. The big acco where he knocked himself out didn't slow him down any... he just got back in a car, attacked, and dumped it again. He'll go well in 2010... 10% more power now as well!!!

Matty. You're a brave man, I humbly salute your navigating courage.
Sledging aside, I'd love to see Jme and Dave teamed up again.
