2010 Jugiong Interstate Challenge - Brindabella Motor Sport Club

RCCA is putting on the Jugiong Interstate Challenge motorkhana again next year, on the weekend of 23rd-24th January.

I'll post the regs up once they are approved.
All I know at the moment is the weekend and that BMSC is an invited club. I'm fairly sure that the motorkhana is on the Sunday, as there is the assumption that interstate competitors will take the Monday off for traveling (the NSW public holiday is Tuesday).

There's a rumour doing the rounds that someone once started the motorkhana without a hangover. There's no evidence, though.

Arrive Saturday, barbecue Saturday night, you can stay at the Motel (wusses) or camp at the venue.

Presentation dinner Sunday night.

TOP weekend - no pressure.

Same concept, same effect, different club.

The first time I won the event was more than a bit ugly the day before.....

Mox - You forgot the "First beer award" on Saturday (3pm I think), which usually pours into the BBQ that night.

Daveee - MCC is invited as well, so no excuses.

Enjoyed this event when we went a few years ago. We'll be there again in 2010.

Regs are done. Sorry it took so long for me to put them up... I've been trying to piece together some cars.

As far as I am aware, the only organised other stuff is the "First beer" on Saturday afternoon (3pm??), and the presentation dinner on Sunday night. Both will be at the motel.

If you're unsure where "Jugiong Park" is, go into the centre of "town" and turn into the pool parking area. Go through the cattle grid at the back of the carpark and follow the road to the hall.

Hope everyone had fun (I certainly did).
It was good to be back in our special after it sat in disgrace for a couple of years.

Photos will hopefully be available on the RCCA website (rcca.org.au) in the next week or two. A disk of photos of your car will also be available at minimal cost.
