Thanks to Rob, Russel and all the others that helped to put on a great event.

Despite it being a long day (on the road at 3:40am and home just after 10pm), I had a heap of fun.

There are quite a few things that other clubs could learn from the way this event is run. Well done guys.

If only you could get hold of the area behind the pits for a second test to be set up.

moz has some part of a clue
other areas

Thanks Rob, Russel, Christine, Dad (ciril), Linda, Donna, Time keeper, Mike, Matt etc etc.
It all worked well and I only have my own self doubt to blame for not being several places further up the rankings.
As for using more space, the original offer from the Grey hound club was to use the carparks around the venue and even the centre field.
I declined the centre field offer before the club started serious discussions as they need plenty of notice to coordinate getting gates removed, replaced and ramps installed to prevent damage to the track.
If we could afford it I am sure the offer could be reconsidered but it would probably not be cost efective except for a very special event. (night stages rally special stage, hint hint)
As for the car park, it may be worth waiting till they have seen the long term effects of our expression sessions before looking into running a few stages at the same time, that would also intail more volounteers.
There is also other yet to be explored venues near by. The block opposite the caravan park (down hill from TGA) does not seem to be set aside for anything as yet in the canberra plan....
over the road is the property "Indoor plant hire" operates from and this also has plenty of open space which, with coin maybe an option.
Also the model plane club could be a potential spot as long as we look after the landing strip and other facilities. They really mainly need the air space.
All in all thanks folks and I hope we can grow it.

Top effort - Congrats to the organisers

Thanks everyone, The Fam all enjoyed our day, I still have anneka going over the results working out where she would have been "If only"

She also found a time that must be an error as it is faster than mine

We will be at the next one.

Matt

It was good to see her getting out of the bog before the first run.
"If in doubt gas it up" but kept the car moving and after the initial shove we didn't have to do anything.
Beats getting towed buy a dirty 4x4
