Supp regs and entry form now available at
www.rallyoflithgow.com
or here: BMSC Downloads -> Event Docs -> 2010 -> Lithgow
The final road work has been done this week end and those of you who have previously competed at this event will be pleasantly surprised with some of the new stages some have never been run at all and others were last used in the late 80's

The maximum distance between service points will be 98 kms in total with 79 kms competitive.
Any chance of a refuel somewhere in there Ric? I know my car has no chance of making that distance.

Hope it's a typo.
Fuel and (rear) tyres will be a major issue for us, especially on notes.

It's funny how the tyre distance is only a problem for 2wd cars... my car should run the entire event on 4 tyres no worries and the performance drop off between new and old is minimal.
AMSAG boys are the same... if it's over about 45k's competitive the front-running 4wd boys are needing fuel and the front running 2wd boys are needing tyres. I know what's cheaper...

It depends on the surface, but yes, the Skyline is the same. Canberra and Oberon appear to be the hardest on the rubber. If I'm using Dunlops (or other) on the rear, then 40 km is about the limit (that's going from v. good second hand, to not even trailer-worthy). I'll get about 70 km from a set of very good second-hand Michelins.
Last event I did in the HMAS Skyline (Natcap 2008) absolutely canvassed 3 sets of rears.
It balances out (?) though - I'll get an entire season out of a pair of soft fronts.

The distances (max) are 72.49 Transport and 24.16 Comp; total 96.65
not sure what happened there, going to sack the event secretary straight after the event, won't have to put up with that shyt again next year

Beauty about a lack of hp. Can do the whole event without refueling and tyres only need changing every few events

Thanks. I'll make that... if not I'll be sure to find a way to blame Morley for it.

Ambiguities in Supp Regs
Sorry if these have been answered elsewhere, but I have several questions...
1) Section 9.3 says Friday reccie is from 1200 to 1700 whereas Program say it starts at 1300. Which is correct?
2) Section 5.3:
(a) says "Section 1: ... including 6 competitive stages" and then "Section 2: First car will start Special Stage 6 ...". How does this work?
(b) doesn't distinguish between the long and short events. What are the distances (total, transport and competitive) for the short event?
Thanks in anticipation,
RG

The correct place for these questions would be to the event secretary his address and contact is in the supp regs.
And yes your very right the distances for the short event and the long event are exactly the same eg there is no short event however if you want to score NSWRC points you need to pay the higher entry fee.

Yes, I think you are having a " special moment" I hope it was good for you
In the supp regs you will find the address for all correspondence (inc entries)
it is
1 Exeter place
North Rocks
Sydney NSW
I don't have the postcode off the top of my head but if you go and read the supp regs I'm sure you will find it.
