Long Bay Stages Provisional Results

Thought I'd scan these in. I can't believe we waited around until 2am Sunday morning waiting for results....

Top marks to Tony Sullens, especially in his speech, "....this is the first time I've been down here..." - and he won it, with no local knowledge!!!!!

Other top drives from looking at just the results for the long event would include:
-David King - Someone said that he finally scored an LSD for this event!
-Bradley Fitzgerald - Sneaked in under everyone's radar from 38th to finish 11th - plus he and his co-driver gave me a push start!
-Greg Lemmon - I reckon he's gained another 1 sec/km or more since doing the PSR a few weeks back.
-Jason Mc - for finishing his first event.

And I was pretty happy pulling 38 seconds off JW, and beating JS by 1 second on the last stage (13km?) despite leaving it in 3rd for the last 2km's because the gearstick almost fell out of the 'box.

Davo King has had the LSD all year. He had a different G/box in the Bay. :-)

Congratulations on a good drive Mark.

JS was without driving lights for the night, think the altenator was not regulating and frying everything in sight. As for JW and I we had a great event, the last stage saw us drop off the pace but there were no dramas, just past our bedtime I think.

Still I think JWs times showed that the 13B makes a difference, whilst not being a rocket.

It was great to catch up with people and I will see you all at the Nat Cap.
