Uphill Khanacross - Aug 29
Inspired by the Pikes Peak hillclimb, Hills District Car Club are holding another "Uphill Khanacross"

Whilst there is no very steep mountain with obscene drop-offs, the course at Hampton is still very uphill and most challenging.

The new roller (George for those that missed the naming ceremony) does a wonderful job at flattening the roads, providing an excellent competition surface.

There will several other, more traditional, tests as well.

All info at the HDCC website (Hills District Car Club).

$50 Adults, $20 Juniors

Canteen available for BBQ type food and soft drinks.

As most of us are aware, there is a pub close by for refreshments afterwards

Gaz is having his first drive this year, so I hope to see you there.

Well the Commode of Death is ready

Locked diff, raised rear springs and gas shocks, 4-point harnesses and fire extinguishers.

Did we forget anything?

Gaz- I might see if I can make the intro rally sprint- not in the wooshodore though- perhaps in the 20 Valve AE95 wagon

Once I'm finished working all daylight hours on the backyard landscaping then I'll have most of the summer to do the car!

Its all good Rowds, did the test, put more water in and all OK
The DFI module did fail, so we had a V4 for most of the day

Results are out at the HDCC website.
