Broadford Track/Traning day

Hey Rally Fans,
We are holding a track day @ Broadford in Victoria, on Sept 16. SOON!
With a very strong Rally flavour, the day will have 2 "briefings" (discussion) sessions on safety, equipment and finishing a tarmac rally. Ideally aimed at competitors switching from circuit racing or gravel rally, the novice competitor, or even those who have a story to tell about not finishing!
If you can see yourself one day competing in a tarmac rally, this is for you.
There will be plenty of drive time, and your instructors on the day are Targa Tasmania winner Steve Glenney and Mazda factory driver Brendan Reeves.
The co-drivers are not left out, they are invited to also attend the whole day, including a 2 hour session on co driving Tarmac rallies, by Rhianon Smyth.
Lunch is included.

FAQ.??
Yes, its BYO car, and yes you can share one, and no it does not have to be your rally car. So, look out Avis!
Yes you can drive without the instructor. Yes you can drive with you co-driver ( in the afternoon, anyway.)
Yes you can bring some hangers-on.
Broadford is happy to accommodate teams coming for a photo shoot as well.
We had 90 people at our last track day, at Oran Park in January, but his will be limited to just 25, to maximise your track time, and the quality of tuition.
Octagon have approved our format, and are recommending this course to some applicants of there upcoming events like Targa High Country.
You will be assessed on the day, the written feedback (if you like) is a great opportunity to move your driving forward.
If we get 20 starters, we will provide technical support, like we did at Oran Park, and what better opportunity to get some set up advice, and not get arrested practicing.

Here is some Vision of the place from Eli's test there earlier this year.

The cost is $375 for driver/car and $95 for your co-driver to be there for all the info, including lunch, rides, and training. Cheaper than a Tyre, and lots cheaper than an off!

For more info, you can call me on 0429 487 775, or to book in just call 1800 208 000
Mick

We have 10 cars for this event so far (only!)
If you want to come for a squirt, if you want to test your car, if you want some feedback on your driving or your machine, then give me a call and we will work something out.
This Thursday, about 45 minutes from Melbourne airport.
If you want to just come along and hang around for the day, and shoot the breeze, let me know so i can organize lunch.
If you come and drive, you will get lots lots more track time than you can handle
