Re: See Targa Tas.
Please book your accom early- it's a right royal pain to try and 'win it' when it comes to getting a room. Recommend you take your own car and go down on the ferry- that way you can follow the action. Tassie has brill roads and spectator info is usually good. Try http://www.tas.gov.au as the portal to info on Tas.
As for WA- yeah, a lotto win mght help most people's chances of getting there.

Yeah, I've heard lots of good things about Tassie, and Targa, but that you have to book early or be prepared to miss out.

Perth ain't too bad for me and the wife... family over there makes it easier. But if I didn't have family over there, it would have been more expensive than going to New Zealand, and New Zealand was a great rally to go and spectate at. Phat roads, easy to get around, good results and more freedom for spectating.

I rate NZ as the best by far when i comes to spectating.

mmmmm Helicopter spectating ......7 stages, saw the top 10 in action 9 times, nearly the whole field twice and 3 visit's to the service park. You HAVE to do it......

Only place i have ever seen a car in action on a SS for just over a minute. usually there gone in under 10 seconds here or in WA. (apart from SSS's that is)

edited so as not to completely hijack the thread.....heart goes with Burns to win, head says Gronholm will do it.
