Caltex Airport StarMart Draft Seeding
I have uploaded the Draft Provisional Seeded List of Entries for the Caltex Airport Starmart Rally.
I will be sending this off to CAMS later this afternoon for approval, but if you think that there are people who are way out from where they should be let me know.

Combination of the NSW Seeding list and your January list, as there wasn't really enough people entered that appeared on the Bega list. It did highlight a couple of people though who had improved during the year.

Here is a slightly more formatted list for those who don't like reading straight text:

Looks good.
I'm being really pedantic here, so feel free to ignore me (this is just a part of the pre-event ritual and involves nerves, and the calming thereof). I don't think anything needs to be changed.
1. Brad Fitzgerald won't be as spectacularly fast as he was at the Bay. But there's no way of being able to legitimately seed that, so I'd still call it a good seeding (based on evidence available, blah blah).
2. Thomas Barrett is possibly too high. I was as quick as Michael at the Bay, and I believe Michael is the quicker of them.
3. Russell Winks is a teensy weensy bit too high. I told you I was being pedantic!
4. Sophia is a bit too low.
Good work by all involved. Thanks.

I'm guessing that I'm probably about right, but it feels like I'm seeded too high... but that's cause I'm too far away from the sweep car.
Seriously, looks pretty good. Looking forward to it.

That too is my experience... hence, I'm too far away. If I have to wait for them to get there, all my late time is used up. I'd rather start last car on the road, and be able to get them to help push/pull/lift/look for a bolt that will fit...
Closer examination of the provisional entry list bears the manufacturer breakdown of:
Nissan/Datsun - 15
Stanza - 2
1600/P510 - 8
180B - 5
Holden/Isuzu - 12
Gemini - 10
Commodore - 1
Camira - 1
Mitsubishi/Chrysler - 7
Lancer Evo's - 4
Lancer (Old Skool) - 2
VR4 - 1
Toyota - 7
Trueno - 1
Corolla (Old Skool) - 1
Corolla (New Skool) - 2
Corona - 1
Celica - 1
Starlet - 1
Mazda - 3
RX-7 - 2
RX-2 - 1
Ford - 2
Escort - 2
Subaru - 1
RX Turbo - 1
Suzuki - 1
Swift GTi - 1
Daihatsu - 1
Charade GTti - 1
Volkswagen - 1
Beetle - 1
Porsche - 1
911 - 1

Oh, you're right - I thought he'd done the honest thing and listed the 911 as a Volkswagen...

And who was calling the VR-4 "the 1600 of the new century"? One only, compared to eight 1600s shows where people's hearts (and wallets) lie...

We're only 32 minutes back Fro, and could be persuaded to "help push/pull/lift/look for a bolt that will fit" using the right lubricant currency. Give us your box/bag of spare bits and I'll carry it in the boot for the right amount of aforementioned currency. Call us your midfield sweep car

ric, its the old JEF-911 car that's been doing lots of things since it did London-Sydney a few years back. Its the current owners' first go in it (apart from OLTs) so it will be interesting to see how they go. I think they may have been given too much benefit of the doubt WRT the seeding, but I don't know.
I was embarassingly slow in the previous owner's hands last time I saw it in action on dirt (Jerawangla Rally, 1998 ).
Edit: Stoopid emoticon.

Oi! Fro! Now you have gone and made my "Dude, you forgot..." post look positively stupid by adding in the Porsche without having a " Last edited" line at the bottom of the post.
Ric - yep, you read correctly. Car 22...
