Historic Southern Cross is being shifted to March 2004.

Historic East African Safari starts October 10.

Thanks Bob! Looks like the week-long Port Mac holiday between the 2 rallies is off Oh well... I was a bit concerned when I hadn't heard anything back from the director and the CAMS calendar info still referred to the event as 'proposed'.

Hopefully they can attract some big names for March! I was a bit too young to remember the original Crosses, so I was quite looking forward to the event. After seeing the classics getting around at Rally NZ a few years ago, I really want to see more! TR8 vs BDA at Manukau.... awesome!

Maybe I'll be able to make the S&SS after all... 8)

You played on the beach with Mum and your bucket and spade while Dad and I went bush!

IIRC, this trip was when I learnt that you got car-sick....(where is that vomit emoticon when you need it??)

From what I hear the Port Macquarie State Round will be running a Classic event as a piggy back event now that the Southern Cross has been postponed.

That's Vatanen in the LHD Escort (RS1800 rather than RS2000?)
And IIRC, the ballast is David Richards, the supremo of Pro-drive, WRC and BAR F1.
