Daniel,
If it's at a rally and taken at a road closure you could try tracking who was closing roads on that stage and see if you can find contact numbers from event organisers/stage commanders (almost worked for me for SFW footage, but I didn't need to resort to that).
If it's taken at a spectator point or khana or something then maybe you could post a bigger version so we can have a good look and it may jog someone's memory.

Yeah, just past the speccie point, if I remember correctly...
There's a farily embarassing sequence of the RX-5 taken about three days before Daniel got there...
