ARC Tipping
OK WA starts tonight.......
What are your tips??
The Top Entries in order are as follows with privateers having a (p) beside there name..... Kangas, Ordynski, Evans, S.Pedder, Croker,D.Herridge, Bates, Thompson (p), Goldsborough (p), Neale (p), M.Pedder (p), Barker, Atkinson, Shepheard (p), R.Herridge (p)
For mine..... Outright- 1. Evans 2. Ordynski 3. Kangas
Privateers: I think Craig can get up over Thommo and Goldy- a bit of P5 power and they are in new cars.
I reckon the Toyota's will blitz the special stage tonight.

Which Thompson? I assume it's Mark T?
Crocker, Kangas, Ordynski, Herridge.
Evans to stick it off on Day 2.
It's all a bit of a non-event. And the non-coverage adds to that feeling.

The three people that are of interest to me, are:
-Atkinson. His car and his driving looked pretty good a few weeks ago on the 'box'.
-Mark Thompson in an Evo 8, isn't he? - he did pretty well in the '5'. Be interesting to see what the '8' brings.
-Mr. Goldsborough. Also in the latest and greatest machinery.
Mark

1st - Ed Ordynski
2nd - Juha Kangas
3rd - Simon Evans
Cody wont finish and Dean will be down the order. Neal B will finish in top 5. Goldy to finish in front of Craig Neale, Chris Atkinson and Scott Pedder if the car is ready.

Our teams results after ss2 are.
1.Bates
2.Evans
3.Atkinson
4.Monkhouse
5.Thompson
6.Neale
7.Kangas
However if you read rally.com.au Craig is nowhere and Kangas is sixth......
Thommo has clipped a wall and set off the fire-bomb apparantly for the second time in as many days, but all should be OK. He's not having much luck, cracked a g/box casing yesterday and was delayed leaving Sydney, so it's a good effort my Thommo.
What about Jack!!! Good stuff- making them factory Subaru's and Mitsu's eat humble pie..... hopefully the "privateers" can keep it all together.
Word is that Toyota and the Atko's went on a "tarmac set-up" whilst all others made do with gravel settings.....
God I hate this...... wish I was there now. Especially with all the legal crap about this elf fuel scam....

According to rally.com, after SS12, Neal's in front, followed by Simon, with...wait for it...Craig in third ???
With Toyota taking Heat 1 !!
If that's correct, then yay Craig...top effort that...JME...not bad out of the "uncompetitive" Evo 5 !!

Matt your right but for some unknown reason stages 11 and 12 which are the Busselton Super specials run on Saturday night but are part of Sundays Heat 2???? still a good result for craig, and Neal and the boys have obviously found some serious speed in the off season, I bet Bob Riley is having a little chuckle seeing as he can`t be blamed for Ed`s misfortunes anymore.

It begs the question as to how long until the big boys complain about the Toyotas..."hobble them" or someting.

Yeah, Craig is starting to travel a bit better...... he dropped 30 sec earlier today with a problem, but is starting to pester the factory cars- which is good. He's hit a few top five stage times now.
I think he is comfortable in tenth..... may be been 8th without any issues, 11th yesterday- so all up if he can keep it together we should come away with a bag of privateer points.
Every round counts this year... so that will be a good start.

I hereby withdraw the above slander. The love has returned, and the ARC now looks like something worth watching. Those Atkinson boys go hard, Evans goes hard, S Pedder goes hard, Bates looks like he hasn't forgotten how to drive (I was wondering). Brad G and Moscatt done good for the first real hitout.
Either this will be a cracker of a year, or the Subaru and Mitsu works teams did nothing over the summer and will come back with a vengeance. Anyone compared times from last year? It would be interesting to see if TTRs improvement was real, or just looked good compared to crap efforts from the other factories.
And if the Atkinsons get pinged for some stupid infringement, it will leave a sour taste. The other teams have been cheating for years - someone needs to have a word to Barry. What in the brakes needs to get sent to the FIA? Either it looks the same as the parts in the homologation documents, or it doesn't.

Someone clutching at straws.
I seem to remember one cc having non conforming springs in his brakes and also having mysterious gearbox problems in international events.
Typical tall poppy.
This Atkinson fellow can't come in in some pro-drive spec car and beat us all. That's just not fair.
