Jerrabomberra Club Hotel Rallysprint 2004 Seeded Entry List
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Here is the final Seeded Entry List.
I draw your attention to the double entry windows that exist between positions 7 and 11 and 27 and 31. This will make the order look a bit strange. Obviously, stages are 8km in length so the chance of catching the car ahead is low.
Tamsey and Mark are off-line for the rest of the week and can be reached on their mobiles: Tamsey: 0400 473 299
Mark: 0402 448 567
Dave will be online until Friday.
Thanks from the Three Stooges...

Top work boys. Looks great - I'm keen to see how the RSs fare against ACT gold cup regulars. I'm also a bit fearful of the surprise Matty T factor.
I don't know enough about rallysprint regs to know if codrivers are allowed to drive as in rallys. Gotta keep Brad G out of the drivers seat.
Double entries do cause difficulties. As you say though, the stage length moderates any likely problem.
Matt swears he put the BMSC down as the entrant.

I know I'm nitpicking but does the BWB say anything about having an attributed entrant as a club if that club's a different club to the club that's running the (club only) event?
Maybe they're asking for it for including that field on the entry form?

I'm hoping so. It's scary being up near the front of the field when common sense says you should be down the back...

Rowdy, last on the road is gold... all the tricky stuff will have some nice orange triangles out in front of it!
And if Katie gets lost, there's wheelmarks to follow!

BWB doesn't say anything about attributed entrant. AFAIK, that bit was removed a while ago. You could put anything there, and unlike previously where the entrant would have needed a licence, they don't need to be a club or whatever. Just stick Mastercard or Visa That reflects whats going on a bit better than the club
I do note that there aren't any LCCC attributed entrants in their own event.
Rowdy, as for being last to the pub, just abort the last two runs and be first there. Save a pint or six for me.

Hmm, so we could start putting Team Tastic Racing or Trend Trailers Motorsport...

Such club pride, it brings me to tears. For all the wrong reasons most of the time .

Straight from the 2004 CAMS Manual of Motor Sport - General Regulations of CAMS
Quote:
16. - Entrant LicencesPage 2-8
A club affiliated with CAMS, sponsors, teams etc, may be shown in the program, results etc, as the entrant without being required to hold an entrant licence.

I think it's because you copped an over-zealous doco person, Paulie. I've had the same problem, probably for the same reason...
At least they've (apparently) cleared it up - that whole thing annoyed the hell out of me, where there were rules for the Big Boys, and rules for the Real World mashed together with no rhyme nor reason.

It cost Neal an ARC title one year, despite winning the championship out in the forest like it should be.
