We might be a bit high but the car in front of Jase seems about right. Meh. At least we're in the field, that's the important thing.

Happy to be in the field.. some of it seems to defy logic IMHO (but I admit I have NFI about seeding)
eg. seeding blake at 51 he's been slower at every event we've both competed at, including the rallysprint where I had bugger all brakes.
I'm sure claude will be faster than us though, and I think simey would be too...
Pat M should be around our pace I reckon.. maybe slightly faster.
ah who knows...
Goal 1- finish.
Goal 2 - win 200 bucks..

3 Karl Willett
11 Matt Dyne
14 Mal Hurley
16 Richard Leitis
22 Geoff Stewart
28 Phil Donohue
31 Marc Pilkington
32 Bede Austin
37 John Gibson
43 Mark Umback
52 Mathieu Durand
53 Simon Leigh
54 Patrick Malycha
55 Claude Murray
56 Paul Taylor

Nah, Karl's going to win, just beating Kevin Shaw.
Oh by the way, Is Mark Umback still running his illegal intercooler?

I can't decide where I've put multiples from the seeded groups. Umby still has the green POS, dunno about any intercooler, maybe if he registers for Clubman the wheat will be sorted from the sheep station by the powers that wish they were...

Actually forget everything I said, it's better that I'm below those guys..
I reckon if you are towards the front end of your 10 car group you're up against it to get the cash.. 59 is gold if you aren't much, if any slower than anyone between you and 50, which is likely at this end of the field.
I think Matt D will struggle to win his group, cos the front guys should be all pretty close on to the pace.
kev shaw can't win unless the entire top 10 go backwards.. which is unlikely .. someones gotta come up at least 1 place..
I reckon Damien Watson or Paul Batten to win the 20's category...

Good to see Russel with a seeding showing his form, but he'll need to have a go with Richard L and Mal H behind him.
Geoff S seems a bit out of place.
I want to test Umbies intercooler legality one day, we have some good discussions about it and he keeps daring me too

You shouldn't have to if the scruts are doing their job properly

Well that's a sure-fire way to not win $200!
Looks pretty good. My thoughts (even though they're probably too late):
1. Claude is significantly too low. I know he shouldn't be seeded as well as his best seeding, seeing he's been out of the car for a while, but...
2. Jon P and John A should both be in front of Pete. Jon P seems neither high enough for the Lancer, nor low enough for the Commodore.
3. Geoff should be in front of me, and probably in front of Marco.
4. Matty shouldn't be in front of Scott H. Look at Bega times for a direct match-up.
5. Phil D was about as quick (quicker?) than I was at Bega, so I can't imagine him being slower now.
Edit: Meant to add... What a F#$king top field! From the healthy number of fast guys at the top, through the packed mid-pack, through to the mix of (relative) newbies and people returning after lay-offs at the back.... Lots of "upsets" waiting to happen, me thinks.

I got Boris's entry on Friday evening to fill out my details as entrant and send it on. I stuck it in the post box on Sunday. Presumably it doesn't get picked up until Monday evening though.

Fiona - Phil Donahue in an Evo behind Andrew Penny in a Charade, is probably going to be an issue IMO.
Cheers,

Fiona,
Put Geoff Stewart and Phil Donohue up the list a bit, I think that they are quicker than there seeded position.
