Your 2005 plans? And ACT Novice 2005.
Yeah, like it says, what are we all planning on doing for 2005, rally wise?
Is this the year you take the shot at NSW state, your first drive, find your feet out of ACT Novice, or just another year of "goin out and doin skidz"?
And who are we going to have rego'd as ACT Novice? AFAIK, the field is looking pretty thin... Of the eligible people who I know own cars, Jimbo is/has moved to Victoria, Daveee has indicated he'll have bigger fish to fry, and... well, everyone else seems to have done too many events to still be called a 'novice' (think Pat, Bogan, Paulie, etc etc).
Anyone know of a true newbie with a car (or about to buy a car)?
I'm planning on doing a few 'normal' events (mostly in Hagar), and probably a couple of TREs in Mexico, and maybe a AMSAG event or two.
Definitely going to the Alpine!
Will register for ACT GC, simply so I am supporting the series, but won't take points away from anyone who is serious about the series.
Oh, and cause Lizzy reminded me, I want to go and do at least one hill-climb in the year, and the REACT motorkhana!

Will register for the Series, but do selected events only. Hopefully all the local events plus Narooma and the Bay. Maybe Bega funds permitting. Nav TBD.

Do SRoC.
Do Alpine.
Do a few crazy TRE/TA/"Trial" things in Mexico.
Not enter any series.
Maybe Nav for some people who want to have a laugh.
Tell a lot of people what I really think.
Then, when the swelling goes down, tell them again, just to piss them orf.

I thought swelling wouldn't be an issue, it's deflation you're after isn't it?

Dunno yet.. depends on a lot of things... my impending end of contract in march... how far we decided to push business wise...
but we'll be out for any TRE events we can I think, katie loved the w/end, and taking the RX-8 out is always fun
I'd like to concentrate on getting my driving less stick it off every 2nd event style -- which of course means seat time. I'll probably do a few khana's up here, plus whatever rallysprints we can get to, and then look at doing bega, starmart, natcap and probably RdF, and the challenge of the clubs thing in Victoria, maybe with fro.
I'm probably still eligible for Novice (only 3 starts), but I'll only rego to make sure I support the series so maybe clubman.
Cheers

Hmm, my plans in general order:
- get the car fixed & going again
- Help out at rallies in Mexico
- Compete in a few Victorian rounds.
- Have some professional rally driver training.
- Perhaps compete in Canberra for a one off event!
- Get some sort of pacenote experince be it in rallysprints or "Holidays" around the country side.

You could always kill two birds with stone & fill the left hand seat of "Erik the Red" for an event next year .... if you're game

I'm game, as long as your game to have either a road-book co-driver, or a clueless newbie navigator...
