Bega...options for rally car transport

As Bega is one of the longest hauls for Rally cars, and the most days away, discussions were held and prices were obtained with the option of getting the Rally Cars down to Bega on the back of a Truck.

Prices varied with the number of cars going down and it was agreed that the vehicles would be delivered on Friday afternoon, and returned Tuesday (ie all normal business days)

Initially it was looking, with 9 cars, at about $200 each car return.

Can I get some interest from the group as to whether you would be wanting this option ?

$200 is getting close to a bargain, although bega is not THAT far.

Question is, what about a damaged vehicle coming back?

Roll-on...roll-off

But there would be a trailer going back with a straight car and I'm sure you could work something out !

Matt,
We are lucky enough to have Rick with his tilt tray. We can fit 2 cars on the back plus one on the trailer behind. Pretty hand as the truck has air brakes so as a service vehicle we have air to pump up tyres and run rattle guns.

Rick has a tilt tray for sale for around $3000. The club could buy it and offer transport to rallies.

Ray
