Looks like about 21 are 4WD. My gut instinct says that 4WDs are driven more regularly.
Just having a look at ACT Series Regos. 22 local drivers have driven this year. Kind of unrelated as it doesn't cover one off drives by people like Simey who don't enter the Series. So figure, maybe 30 of these local cars have been rallied this year? Maybe we should be targetting/examining the remaining 65% to get them active. Work out why they're not?
Next stop, mapping competitor numbers since 2000...

The Brown Hornet (Bluebird) is only a fuel tank and some carbs off being a rally (ABLE) car, hope for it to see the llight of day late this year or early next. This is of course all Pending approval form the minister of home affairs and finance

All we really need is CRC with mechanically identical engines for "classics" and Showroom.
If we only had Showroom or Series Production, most Competitors would be running late model cars with their previous ones being sold down, increasing the size of fields and sustaining the sport.
That is the way it used to happen.

Mark thats easy enough to do using the spreed sheet. Just sort the field by location insted of alphabeticaly and the ACT cars will sort for you. Then update as required.
The possibilities of that spreed sheet allow a very wide crossection of info to be pulled as required.

This topic relates to the ACT, but I think this would be a great exercise for all states to keep a history of the growth and/or decline of competitor numbers.
That Fifield fella should have a good list of names for NSW from the seeding list as a starting point.
