Rally Car Census: ACT and surrounds.
Righto. It's been a bit quiet on here at the moment between rallies. So, here some mindless drivel. I'm curious to see how many actual rally cars there are in the A.C.T. Sure, we'll get say 20 local cars come along to a local rally but I'm wondering how many actual rally cars are there in the ACT - and Queanbeyan. There's got to be a lot of cars that have just sat in sheds for years.
Soooo, my criteria is:
-rally car setup for running on dirt, not tarmac.
-CAMS logbooked on in the process of being actively built i.e. all of Richard Leitis' Escort with roll cages don't count as they haven't been moved for the last x years.
-located in ACT (including Jervis Bay - hi Boris) and Queanbeyan (including Captain Flat road - hi PCD).
-would be runnable. If it is wrecked and being stripped for another rally car then ignore it.

Jamar and Raybak do not count as they are Vic rally permit registered cars.
How, becuase they spend 99.99999999 recuring % of their time in the ACT is beyond me. I think you will find Doug Wrights car is also in the same boat.

Well if it wasn't before it is now
KE35 Corolla (logbooked, cage) not running. I think I've got 70% of the bits including motor/gearbox but excluding seats and harnesses and that stuff. Was hoping to get it ready for MiniDulla but that's not looking so promising now... bluddy Stanza bluddy houses bluddy job bluddy rallies

Of course the list will bloat out by about 10% once Spac gets online and puts all his Volvo's and various Mazdas on here. Correction 18%....

No Volvos!!
Spac! Look at the second criterion:
"-CAMS logbooked or in the process of being actively built"
Surely you must have at least one Volvo that qualifies?
Addition:
Winton Brocklebank
Escort RS2000 Mk 1
(meets criterion above)

G.O.B. - all I'm getting when I look at your post is:
Volvo Filter is blocking (in)active content

It's interesting who would have been forgotten had this list been started by someone else, I'm sure it's a study in classes and socio something or other.

Sharpy
Matt Thompson with Mini B and The New Car (don't ask me, ask him and don't be surprised if he doesn't want to tell you)
Umby
Marc Pilkington
Tim McGahey
Stuart Kilduff
Do Phil and Sophia count?
Peter Norton
Roland Schmitz
Caleb Cooper
Don Hannah
Greg Lemmon
Mike Morris
