TCC Wakefield Park Supersprint - 27th August 2006
Folks,
It's on again, Sunday 27th August 2006.
Open to all NSW and ACT CAMS affiliated clubs, more details next year. Rally cars, daily drivers, unregistered khanacross beasts and insanely modified utes (Hi Sam  ) most welcome.

Any hints on when there's a Oran Park GP Circuit Supersprint?

My favourite NSW circuit
19th Feb '06 for members of HSV, WRX, AROCA and SSCC. SSCC is the Southern Sporting Car Club and unlike the others isn't marque specific.

Can't help you with sooner, but there will be more than one... we're running one in October at Oran Park, but only on the South Circuit (sorry, Fro  ). At the moment it's scheduled for the 21st (same day as 2GO) so our committee will discuss and determine whether we stick with this date or find another one. (We'll have to weigh up how many State Rally* competitors we might offend by having a Supersprint that day!)
Hope we'll see a few of you at this one as well.  Will keep you posted about specifics a little closer to the date.

No worries Fro, just letting people know early as the weekly 'Bethwaite Calendar' is filling up fast.
Oran Park GP events are usually only State Supersprint Championship, closed to club Porsche and BMW days or 'AROCA/HSV/WRX/SSCC Love Rectangle' events.
To cut a long story short, unless you want to join another club, State Championship is the only choice for most of us to get a run on the full circuit.
We almost went for a multi-club Oran Park GP this year, as I had a lot of trouble getting a date from Wakefield for a long time. Glad it worked out in the end, our Treasurer would have had a heart attack if I told him we were doing a GP.

Everything is booked, still working on the supp regs, hopefully finished soon but have been busy organising recent motorkhanas/khanacrosses. Having fun and games finding the main officials for the paperwork as the whole club wants to drive in the event - watch this space........
