An aside:
Apparently the IPRA kids have allowed the S13 Silvias to play in their sand pit for 2006+.
IPRA's eligibiltiy requirements are very similar to PRC's. This may make the path through ARCom a little easier?

Late 2004 when I was enquiring about these (and trying to explain to Peter Lawrence teh differences and model progression between S12, S13, S14 and S15 Silvias, and then where 180SX's fit in), he was off to measure one internally to see if it met the Touring Car internal measurements (for it's eligibility for IPRA).
While I'd love to see these eligible for PRC, I can't see ARCom changing it's tune quickly (given earlier discussions re Silvias). And interesting that Roodenrhys has rallied his S14 for a while (including at an ARC round), but when I asked if I could do this, was told a firm "not until it explicitly has approval".
Grrrr.
See discussion on changing PRC eligibility so that anything with a factory workshop manual is PRC eligible. That's the ideal solution to this (and other) problem(s).

Jamies S14 is really just a 200sx, which were sold in australia by nissan, whereas the S13 was never sold in australia.
In saying that, i believe that this car has a new home in someones shed in Canberra now

Trust me, I'm painfully aware of this. People at CAMS still didn't know what it was, or want to accept it unless I had a letter from Nissan Australia telling them that it was a model that they sold domestically, and then would have to meet the criteria for a Touring Car.
It was at this point that I realised that I didn't have the money for this dream, and didn't have the energy either...

My guess is that it now belongs to someone who was interested in a S5 RX-7, but then crashed his own 2-door Datsun fairly recently.
Be interested to see whether it is another Roodenrys car in every way, or if he's getting better...

hahaha, I couldnt see Mick Harding buying a S13 Although he did just get a MX5!
I'd love to see this in action, as well as all the work thats gone into it. It would be just like seeing a S4/S5 on the dirt, its just so good !

I spoke to Grahame Cook and he told me that he had got all of the info that he believes CAMS to want and was going to submit it this week . So hopefully this will get the ball rolling, and one day the little Silvia may chirn some dirt
