Sweden
Since its on this weekend, i thought i might bring it up.
Who is going for who? Who wants who to win? (i dunno why i asked that everyone wants Chris to win, dont they )
Who do you think will win?
I recon Chris will do really well, last time he was quicker then Loeb on the splits and then stuck it off so if he can stay on the road we should see him on the podium.

PickEM ---- Keep your eyes peeled for a crazy aussie standing by the road.
Peter Haggstrom AKA Hagger flew out to Sweden last week and i believe have threatened to make an appearance at Rally Sweden to cheer on Chris A.
So don't be surprised to see his ugly dial on the Box.
I think it would be short Odd's that he will manage it tooo.

This is Stig Blomqvist's 40th Swedish Rally! The man is an absolute legend, and has won this rally 7 times.

I'm fairly sure the new 'special construction' Pirelli tyres last year won it for Solberg so it may be an advantage again...
Gronholm
Solberg
Rovanpera (he is apparently entered in a Xsara)
Loeb
Atkinson

Gee Gronholm is going to be hard to stop this year, looks like the Focus is the goods, and after the last time he was in a 'competitive car' (the 206) he blitzed them, it will be a good fight between Seb and Gronholm this year, and hopefully it goes down to the wire, and it isn't such a run away win this year.

I always maintained that Gronholm was the best driver in the worst (of the proper factory) car whilst he was in the 307.
Seb was on his own, but he was also in the best car in '05.
'07 could be interesting.

I just noticed that Sweden doesn't run a car 13 it goes 12 -14 and skips unlucky 13.
Edit: Make that the whole WRC no driver has 13 guess no body wants unlucky 13.

Its always the codrivers fault. FFS, why didn't Loeb check the pins?
Quote:
Flying bonnet causes problems
Sebastian Loeb holds a solid second place at the event's first service, despite suffering a smashed windscreen on his Citroen Xsara WRC. He and co-driver Daniel Elena stopped on the road section between stages one and two, to remove their lamp pod. However, Elena forgot to replace the bonnet pins and the panel flew up and smashed the windscreen as they set off. They replaced it but the resulting cracks caused vision problems in the next, 27km stage. It also meant they arrived late and got a ten second penalty.
"In the shade it wasn't such a problem," said Loeb "but when the sun was coming at us, it was hard to see. Even on the straights, I was hitting the banks at the side of the road. But the pace is good. Marcus is very fast and we will see how we go later, as we do the same stages again."
