Alpine DVDs at BMSC meeting tomorrow night. - Brindabella Motor Sport Club

Folks,

If all goes to plan Disc 2 will be ready for burning when I get home today.

If I were to bring some to the BMSC meeting tomorrow night who'd want one? $20 gets you an hour and a half of external footage (every car) and a 2 hour bonus disc with eight stages of in-car from three different crews, course car, media day and service park action.

I have some PMs and emails from people wanting a copy, but is there anyone else if they are available tomorrow night?

I tried to call Jodi this morning to get an address for Express Post Parcel tomorrow (to arrive Wednesday). Nothing like doing things at the last minute. I have Batemans 05, but as previously stated lots of times have bugger all from NatCap and BRM. I have Claude Murray's footage from Greenhills at BRM and Rob Nunn and Sosi's in-car from NatCap, but that's hardly enough to make a DVD out of. It's interesting how all the away events seem to have people with video cameras at them, but when we come back home either no one takes the camera or no one wants to share.

PJ wants to do a DVD of RdF but if no one takes a camera out there then it will also be a very short production.

A menu and some credits anyone?

I should have known shouldn't I? All did not go to plan and the stupid computer is still rendering and compiling Disc 2 content. I'll struggle to get them to the meeting tonight and also struggle to get them to Victoria for tomorrow night. I'll do my best though.

So here I sit, patiently feeding blank DVDs into the machine at the rate of one every ten minutes. Oh joy, this is so much fun.

I've already done the printing and cutting out of the covers (that's right kiddies, covers, this production's a flash one) and now all there is left is to copy and print the discs until I run out of media.

If there's anyone going to the 'puter fair at NATEX on Saturday (RdF day) I'd appreciate it if you could PM me as I need more discs and cases but will be at RdF until maybe too late.

Orders taken for pick up or delivery next week, not sure about how much for postage as I've not posted DVD cases before, only the CD case sized ones. Might still be able to do it for a fiver, but will check next week.

There will be some available at the HRA meeting tomorrow night (or is that tonight

?).

Computer fair sorted, and because I only managed to get 25 copies ready to be shipped to Victoria (thanks GT) I will have a few at RdF this Saturday. I'll be there early and probably leaving early, so if you want one better bail me up before we start or at the service park, I won't be kicking on afterwards. If you want Batemans or Bega or other stuff best to PM me beforehand so I can come prepared.

Is it time to go to sleep yet?
