The event will be on the 9th of Dec, have asked Robbie Williams to shift his concert, he may change it to a Canberra Concert so that he can spectate at RDF.

When my mum turned 60*, I convinced her to hop in the driving seat!
Mum was from an era where a housewife would hop in the family FE Holden and drive about 800 km single-handed from the outer Riverina to Sydney in one day, with cross-ply tires, on a few hundred kays of gravel road before you hit the bitumen, with miniscule drum brakes and headlights that were so weak that you could see the light beams curving through the air and falling to the ground.

I thought I might sign her up for rallychicks. Would rallychicks accept an 83-year-old member?
* I used to think 60 was really, really old. Nowadays ...............!!!

It was mentioned at last night's BMSC meeting that Robbie declined to move the date of his concert  plus there was a clash with the NSW CAMS Presentation Night, so the RdF date will move forwards to Sat 2 Dec 2006. I think the date change has to be officially approved by the State Executive (?) this Fri night, so hopefully Ray/PJ will confirm that the new date has been locked in soon after that.

Love your work for running the event every year, BMSC, but could you please tell Robbie and CAMS and whoever else changes their plans at this late stage every single year to stop it?!  It's such a hassle trying to make sure that Australia's Premier Female Driving event stays on our Club Championship calendar. 
[Runs off to beg the NSSCC committee to change the date of the Christmas Dirt Circuit, for the third year in a row....]

Hmm, we spent some time on trying to find a date that will not affect either the RdF nor the clubs and tied it in some time ago with the club who will host the presentations. As Terrie has stated, it might be a good idea to check the dates again!

The RDF runs in the day...the preso is at night...what's the problem.. I just see a bloody good piss up after the RDF.
I believe the 2nd was confirmed by CAMS.
Bring it on!!! After running in the event I will be dehydrated and only need one drink to make me go silly at the preso.

Wanted 9th for RDF, planned on 9th, but CAMS approved the 2nd (the CAMS preso night is the 9th now).

Problem is that it's booked on that date.
You say move it, that's fine we move it but the bookings are full for the 9th.
You say find another location, so do you want the bowling club again?
It's ok I'm speaking with Julie at present about times for the Rdf and when the series starts.
