But Daniel, I thought you were a lab-tech, not a sewerage worker?

Have people forgotten about when the forum was closed for a day or so while a letter from someone's lawyer was considered?
There is no free speech. Someone says someting nasty - the BMSC pays. This could be actual out of pocket costs of lawyers and damages awarded, or perhaps more common, the hidden cost of damaged relationships. Relationships that are needed to assist the sport that we all love.
We need to live with moderation or not have a forum.
Sorry if this insults your beliefs regarding freedom of speech. If so, perhaps you need to establsih your own forum and accept the liability yourself.

I think that we have a great diversity in our moderators. We all have enough trouble going through some of the dribble on here.
I for one am definetely for keeping the current moderation strategy.

I think the Mods do a great job. I know for that I put provacative subjects up sometimes.
Only because after 30 years I still like rallying and hate to see it going South. and it is unfortunatley.
A Forum like this has uncovered many a wisdom, from the young and the older, and even Bob!
In the light of the secret world known as Rally Adminsitration , keep it up.
The Truth is out there

Fixed.
And you don't want to know about how much self restraint it took to not mod Bede's most recent post.

The older the moderators get, the more things get moderated.
Remember old folks are very sensitive.
So when Fro's in his 50's we wont say anything.
