How do you like to see your event results presented
I'm setting up the results sheets for Giro and though this might be a good opportunity to find out what information you would like to see in the results that are typically presented at the end of each event.
Many of you would have seen the Captain's Flat rally results from earlier this year and that is a good guide of what can be done quickly.
Please keep your requests within reason. I only have tonight to finish setting up the results sheets for Giro. Those of you who have been a bit too close to cleaning products or paint thinners might like to keep their creative ideas to themselves until the the room stops swaying.

The ones at the finish venue really only need to be individual stage times and any penalties. It would be good if there was a complete set of these (instead of just the first x cars) available rather than having average speeds and style points and such. Quite a few events I've been to have only had the results after 20 cars have finished even though I've been car 50 and finished for 30 minutes.
The scoreboard that's up at Bega every year is always a hit to stand around and drink beer while you look at who you beat on what stage. It makes you use your brain to see who you've beaten and it doesn't use several hundred sheets of paper which will end up in the bin anyway.
Know someone with a plotter? Ask Graham Roser to send you whatever sheet he uses.

FTW.
Big sheet of butchers paper + (ruler + permanent marker) + some of those sticky labels like at MG Khanas = DodgyFTW.

Yep. Big score-board as a focal point is a good thing.
In the final printed results, stage-by-stage placings are very good too.

that's one thing, and the other is to make sure there is enough copies
for everyone. I mean if there are 62 crews then every crew should get
a copy (unlike some events where only 1-5 copies are printed).
if it's impossible to print that many then post it on the Net same day.
if trophies are awarded based on those results then why can't they be
published on the internet. just call them "unofficial" until that bloody stamp
from CAMS is received, rather than have non-competing folks at home
waiting for them another week.

Carefully written down Jennifer Hawkins leg would be pretty good,or if it was a really long event with a big field like say the Alpine you could write them across Jlo's bottom. and if Neither of them is available as long as they are legible, correct and delivered to everybody in a timely fashion, preferably updated throughout the event as each car hits service on velum, parchment, matted hemp fibre or just plain old paper is good

You might have noticed Jlo's butt was only for BIG events it was a square yardage thing so the scorer does'nt have to scrunch up the print.

So if they re run the Southern Cross as a 4 day event, does that mean you have to use Amanda Vanstones butt?
