My Rides
1st Rally car was a Datsun 180B SSS with a Bob Bridge 1800cc motor , Standard SSS 5 Speed and 3.7 diff. (1985 )
2nd car was a Datsun 1600 with the motor from the SSS but with a 5.1 locker and 240k struts and Tokiko Green inserts with KYB rear shocks and a 240 skyline box and a disc brake rear end. (1985 )
3rd Car was a Datsun 1600 with a 2140cc Bob Bridge motor (Group G) a option 2 Holinger close ratio box, and the suspension and brakes from the previous car. (1986)
4th Car was a Datsun 1600 with a 2140cc Bob Bridge motor (Group G) all the running gear from the previous car . But this car had the motor mooved back, it was lightened and very strongly seam welded all over, Fibreglass guards and bonnet , Alloy sheetmetal dash, Full Group G (87-89)
5th Car and Present car ( 2007 ) after 18 yrs off, the little Corolla KE55 Coupe. It was the Bryan Van Eck car in 06 but now I have changed it dramatically, with Bilstein Coilover EIBACH'S in the front, New adj KONI'S in the rear, new spring plates and shackles, New sills and rear arches, two new front guards, A NEW MOTOR 1920cc built by Bob Bridge with more HP, New paint scheme ( the reverse colours of my first car ) so thats it for me 5 so far !!  Your never too old to return to rallying what a hoot.!!
