Can I get a close up of the hair please Mark?
On a serious note, you installed a dome into the roof for the hair didn't you? That's really what's going on here...

The first harness I did for the Trueno was an a 'creative interpretation of a bird's nest'. The wiring in the Evo's on the money I reckon.
Rus, remember the hair is just an 'aerodynamic aid' for the noggin!

Sorry Shane, the front bumper went to a local guy.
Try Andrew at CVAP.com.au or Ralliart.

Bit of an update then.
Pic 1:
Chopped up and got rid of the old wreck. Thanks to Richard Leitis for the 9" angle grinder. That was fun....
Pic 2:
Rob from Fusion Painting, put down a two-pack primer last Sunday as per the second photo - thanks Rob. There's basically 22 parts of the car that have to be individually sprayed so it takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours of spraying to do that.
Spent about 15 - 20 hours prepping the surfaces, and preparing the triple garage for painting the parts before that and that didn't even involve taking the panels back to bare metal (phew!).
Pic 3 and 4:
...and Rob put down the first coat of two of the Dulux(!) metallic 'sparkling aluminimum' paint yesterday. It took just under 3 litres of paint to do the 22 parts and again about just over 90 minutes for Rob to spray it. The second coat should blend in the 'granular' look of the metallic grain - just as it did with the interior. Then it'll be an overcoat followed by another overcoat with the panels hanging off the car so the spray matches in the same direction. I must say, it's an awesome looking paint job in person and the photos don't do it justice. I was personally wanting something around the colour of the 'grey' of the latest Mitsubishi Evo's or latest Commodore SS silver and this colour hits the spot in my mind.
I'm pretty damn happy with the result and a big thanks to Rob Vuckovic.

The bling-bling mobile got another two coats over the weekend, thanks to Rob from Fusion Painting. It looks so hot it can only be described as pawno-graphic (deliberate spelling). The paint has this cool section on the spec-sheet we got off the Dulux site:
"Acrathane IF has good gloss and colour retention making it suitable for mobile equipment. Due to it's excellent chemical resistance it is suitable to use as a topcoat in chemical plants, oil platforms and refineries..." Add rally car to that list hopefully.
I get to sand it back tomorrow evening followed by a top gloss overcoat.
It's a pretty good feeling putting the panels back on and the car starting to look like a rally car again.

Definitely looking too shiny for a car of yours. Can you get a custom 'matte coat' over the top?

You'll need to add another 3 points to your seeding coefficient before that happens
