thanks swill i just wasn't sure on what they would say it's not modifeid except seats/harnesses and cage.

Matt you can get a day one. untill you have it fail the pits then you can get week ones.
Thats if the car has been off the road for more then 2 year i think

thats what they said to me this afternoon on the phone.
it hasn't seen rego since 2006 and i think it was NSW Historic.

Take it to the pits think its $50 for check for rally car. They need to spend 30mins checking it over... instead of the normal 15mins. then i think $15 to have the car rechecked.
Its normally best to fail the pits then fix up what needs doing and with a week permit then take it back for the recheck while still on the week permit as day and week permits are about the same cost =/
