I see what you're all talking about, I'm on the search for cheapo Dato parts, and everything seems to go down the list very quickly.

Perhaps an idea for seperating the Thread could go something like this:

Buy

Sell
Cars (Rally kitted only)
Cars (Other), will seperate those unwanted Drift car ads
Parts (Engine and Performance)
Parts (Chassis and Wheels), there are a lot of em
Parts (Exterior and Body)
Parts (Interior and Cockpit)

The idea is that it will seperate everything nicely, stop bumpage from happening as much, and will make it easier for people to find what they want.
(Plus moderators will be able to monitor it far easier.)

Or perhaps another way is to seperate the sell/buy sections into manufacturers, i.e.

Nissan
Mitsubishi
etc...

Anyway, that's my two bobs worth...

I think it would be beneficial to split parts from cars. When you post a rally car for sale you like it to stay visible for a while, but the parts for sale moves so quickly they get lost in all the noise.

the thing to remember about "privilidged membership" and restricting access to for sale forums, is that it also limits your buyers. People who google '240K for sale'* will find our forum, and then be able to view it and reply or PM.

*Bad example only - I wouldn't suggest for a moment that there are actually people out there googling to buy a 240K

Erm, this is how it currently works - the road cars, parts and other dross are in a seperate section to the real rally cars.
