S3 RX7 BARE shell for sale
Hi all.
I recently bought a S3 RX7 rolling shell as I wanted the rear end assy and some front suspension bits out of it. Once I pull the gear I want out of it, I'll be wanting to get rid of the shell.
The shell is stripped bare of just about everything useful, including interior, doors, bolt-on panels etc. (still has rear glass and sunroof).
It actually has S2 struts bolted into the front, which will also be up for grabs. I want the steering arms, LCA's and possibly a few other bits from the front end.
I have been sorely tempted to start seam welding it and building a cage for it, but who am I kidding? It took me 30 months to get an almost complete RX2 ready for its first event
Would be a good basis for a reshell, or basis for biulding a new rally car. Note it has no compliance or VIN plates (just the chassis number stamped into the firewall).
Being fully stripped, it is easy to load onto a ute / trailer (3 guys will pick it up easily enough). Alternately, I can transport locally (on the rolling stock) and then remove the bits I need at your place. Depending on how far I transport, a small fee may apply.
Looking for about $150 for the shell, or what's left of it. It's straight and fairly rust free. I can take photos if anyone is interested.

Aaah, but I was in Newcastle yesterday.
Unfortunately the RX7 is a bit heavy for carry on luggage with Jetstar

Need this gone people.
If no interest I'll just cut it up and take to the dump / scrap metal man.
Then in 20 years time I'll reminisce about the time I dumped a genuine classic Gen 1 RX7 shell, and now they cost eleventy billion dollars for one full of rust and bog
