F/S: REAL 6-pot WRC Gravel Brakes

We had a few sets of these, for gravel and tamrac, sold my Evo 8 gravel car and now dont need these gravel ones. these are REAL Prodrive/ AP Racing WRC gravel brakes. They have a facility to water cool also.

If your after the few more tenths a kilometer these brakes will get your there, suited up to 310mm rotors, so will also suit 16" suby wheels for Targa Tas etc (heavy on brakes).

These are stamped/embossed STI by AP RACING. They are MONO block for rigity and longevity.

Asking $2750 for both fronts.

You'll only need to make the mounts up to fit them, can fit other cars. Was going to cheekily paint them red and put them on the evo and put a Mitsu' sticker over the 'Sti' part.

It is the ultimate stopping power for your rally car, these are the Holy Grail of brakes. Comes with brake lines and water cooling lines.

Don't you know when you sell a car, all the bits are supposed to go with it.

Jeff,

I'd like to have a look at these. If they are in good condition I'll take them.

I forgot to say these weigh an astonishing 1.7 kilos each. I think my watch weighs that. Disc thickness maximum is 27mm, and all the tubing is inside the calipers there is no external piping.

As you all know to get better handling you need to reduce unsprung weight (especially on gravel cars to aid handling and suspension movement, not to forget less stress on suspension)and doing that inside the wheel itself is the most efficient way to do it, and it has a times-on effect of anything from x4 to x6 as to the weight the car thinks it's lost/gained.

Sold to a guy in Perth who is wiring the funds to my account today. Sorry you lost out, I guess it's the old adage 'you snooze you loose'.

But stand by in the event something goes awry.

Ian.
I have a set that you can have, it was the spare set, I wasnt going to part with them, but just can't see me using them for a while if I keep them. Let me know if you want them before I post them up.
